About Jess
Jess has a lifetime of experience in fitness, from running, biking, swimming, kayaking, and horseback riding in her early years, to exploring bouldering gyms, weight training, kickboxing, and participating in bikini fitness competitions as an adult. She has a strong love for all things boarding - paddle boarding, one wheeling, longboarding, bodyboarding (she’s working on her surf technique!). She adores an earthy lifestyle and can hike an elevation of four thousand feet barefoot in an hour, tame overgrown lawns with gas operated equipment like nobody’s business, weave through traffic in both automatic and manual transmission vehicles, chop wood at a speed comparable to a male twice her size, and successfully operate a variety of ride on equipment, from mowers, to work gators, to construction rollers/packers.
When Jess is not in a bikini by the sea, or barefoot elsewhere in nature, you can find her performing: at 16, she began developing what would be a decade long career as a charming customer service worker, first at a cafe whipping up lattes and cappuccinos on the espresso machine, later: pouring, mixing, creating her own cocktails, and balancing full trays of food and beverages, at an understaffed bar, all whilst keeping her at-work persona fully intact, of course!
You are as likely to see Jess rocking out in street fashion as she blows any karaoke competition out of the water - she knows all the words to every old school Eminem song, and performs them passionately and on beat, too - as you are to find her snuggling up to every four legged creature she finds. With a total of six years experience in modeling - three for budding photographer friends, and another three collaborating with professionals - Jess is just as comfortable posing for outdoor shoots (ones that require her to get active and involved with the natural environment around her are her favorite) as she is for creative in-studio art.
Due to her varied skillset, as well as her background in music and acting - she completed up to Grade 9 of the Royal Conservatory of Music Program in piano, won a silver medal for Grade 3 RCM Speech Arts & Drama, and was cast in multiple plays throughout her childhood, it is worth stating that Jess would be perfect for commercial and acting work as well.
A former psychology student at the University of Washington, she also has her certificate as a Veterinary Technician Assistant with honors.
Wondering what’s next for this all around wonder woman?
She’s learning swordplay.
